Uitnodiging VERON Zomercontest 4 en 5 augustus 2018

Intussen dat uw VHF Contestmanager de uitslag aan het opmaken is van de contesten die zijn gehouden in juni en juli dient de volgende contest zich weer aan. Op 4 en 5 augustus wordt de VERON Zomercontest gehouden. Deze contest begint op zaterdag om 14:00 UTC en eindigt op zondag 14:00 UTC en wordt gehouden op de banden 144 MHz, 432 MHz en 1.3 GHz.
Het is een losse op zichzelf staande contest. Een verbinding is geldig wanneer met het tegenstation wordt uitgewisseld het rapport, volgnummer en QTH locator. Het volledige contestreglement staat hier.

Het bijzondere aan deze contest is dat tegelijkertijd op zondag ook de Alpe Adria VHF/UHF/SHF contest wordt gehouden. Dit staat garant voor voldoende activiteit en zoals de naam al doet vermoeden behoort het dan ook zeker tot de mogelijkheden om Italiaanse of andere stations op bergtoppen in de Alpen via Tropo te werken. Alpe Adria 2018 VHF contest – invitation

“Dear radioamateurs, dear contesters,

Alpe Adria VHF/UHF/SHF contest is one of the oldest radioamateur contest organised on VHF/UHF/SHF frequency bands. This year’s contest, organised by Association of Radio Amateurs of Slovenia, is the 47rd in a row.

This contest has two parts. On Sunday, 5th August 2018 there is VHF part and the rules for this part are available here http://slovhf.net/alpe-adria-vhf-contest/ . VHF part of Alpe Adria contest is very popular, usually extremely high number of amateur stations are taking part and for those amateurs who likes mountaineering, there is low power (5W) high altitude (above 1600m A.S.L.) category excellent opportunity.

At the end of the contest don’t forget to submit your log. According the rules logs from participants from OE, 9A and I are to be sent to the national VHF managers, participants from other countries can upload the log on the S5 VHF robot http://slovhf.net/vhfmanager/index.php or they can send their logs to one of the email addresses listed in the rules or to the vhfctest (at) hamradio.si.
